You throw a pair of dice and hope to roll a 7 or 11; if it happens, you win. On the other hand, when a 2, 3, or 12 shows up, you lose.

If you throw any other number (4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10) you continue throwing the dice and hope that the same number will be thrown before the 7 comes up. If you throw the number again, you win. On the other hand, when the 7 comes up first, you lose.

Types of Bets

Come-out roll

The first roll is called the come-out roll. You win if a 7 or 11 comes up. You lose if a 2, 3, or 12 comes up (this is known as craps). If a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10 comes up, that number becomes the pass-line point. To win, the pass-line point must be thrown again before the 7 comes up.

Pass line Bet

You bet that a shooter will win by rolling a 7 or 11 on the first throw, or that he will roll a number and repeat that number before a 7 is rolled. Because there are 8 ways to win (6 ways to throw a 7 + 2 ways to throw a 11) and only 4 ways to lose (1 way to throw a 2 + 2 ways to throw a 3 + 1 way to throw a 12), you have a 2:1 favor over the house.

Don’t pass Bet

Opposite of pass line bet: On the come-out roll you win on a 2, 3, or 12. You lose if a 7 or 11 comes up on the first throw. You win if the shooter throws a 7 before making the Togel Hongkong pass-line point. Because there are only 4 ways to win (1 way to throw a 2 + 2 ways to throw a 3 + 1 way to throw a 12) and 8 ways to lose (6 ways to throw a 7 + 2 ways to throw a 11), the house  has a 2:1 favor over you.

Come Bet

You are betting on the very next throw: You win even money if 7 or 11 comes up, and lose on 2, or 3 (12 is a tie). If none of these numbers are thrown, your bet will go on the number that already appeared, and you will win when that number is thrown again. You will win if a 7 appears first. Because there are 8 ways to win (6 ways to throw a 7 + 2 ways to throw a 11) and only 3 ways to lose (1 way to throw a 2 + 2 ways to throw a 3), you have a 8:3 favor over the house.

Don’t come Bet

Opposite of come bet: You win even money if 12 or 3 comes up, and lose on 7, or 11 (2 is a tie). If none of these numbers are thrown, your bet will go on the number that already appeared, and you will win when if a 7 appears first. Because there are only 3 ways to win (2 ways to throw a 3 + 1 way to throw a 12) and 8 ways to lose (6 ways to throw a 7 + 2 ways to throw a 11), the house  has a 8:3 favor over you.

Place Bet

You select an imaginary come-out point and place your money on that number. The payout is 9:5.

Buy Bet

Place bet on 4 or 10, with a $20 minimum wager, and a 5% commission. The payout is 2:1.

Lay Bet

Opposite of buy bet because you win on 7 and lose when the point comes up. $20 minimum wager, and 5% commission. The payout is 2:1.

Field Bet

You bet that the next throw is a 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, or 12. You win even money on 3, 4, 9, 10, or 11. You win double on 2 or 12, and some casinos pay triple on 12. You lose if 5, 6, 7, or 8 appears. Because there are only 16 ways to win and 20 ways to lose, the house has a 5:4 favor over you.

Big 6 & Big 8

You win even money when a 6 or 8 is rolled. You lose if 7 comes up. Nothing happens when other numbers appear. You can remove this bet at any time. Because there are 10 ways to win (5 ways to throw a 6 + 5 ways to throw a 8) and only 6 ways to lose (6 ways to throw a 7), you have a 5:3 favor over the house. Since the house advantage is 9.09% this is a very poor bet.

Proposition Bet

Two or Twelve

You bet that the next roll is 1-1 or 6-6. The payout is 30:1 but the house edge 11.1%.

Three or Even

You bet that the next roll is 1-2 or 5-6. The payout is 15:1 but the house edge 11.1%.

Horn

You bet that the next roll is a 2, 3, 11, or 12. Your money is spread over these four numbers (so a $4 horn bet has $1 on each of the four numbers). The payout for a 2 or 12 is 30:1. The payout for a 3 or 11 is 15:1.

Example: $4 horn bet -> A 12 appears -> You win $30 on 12 and lose $3 on 2, 3 and 11.

Any Seven

You bet that the next roll is a 7. The payout is 4:1 but the house edge 16.67%.

Any Craps

You bet that the next roll is a 2, 3, or 12. The payout is 7:1 but the house edge 11.1%. If you lose your pass line bet because of a craps (2, 3, or 12) you at least win on this bet.

Craps-Eleven (C & E)

You bet that the next roll is a 2, 3, 11, or 12. The payout for a 2, 3 or 12 is 3:1. The payout for a 11 is 7:1.

Hardways

You bet that the shooter will roll a number the hard way (as a pair) before the 7 and before the number rolls in the easy way (not as a pair).

Example: You bet on hard-4 (4-4) which totals 8. You lose if 8 comes up any other way (3-5 or 2-6) and if a 7 appears.

The Table Personnel

The Boxman oversees the game, watches everything, and resolves any disputes.

The two Dealers pay off winnings, collect chips on losses and make change for players.

The Stickman is responsible for the handling of the dice and all proposition bets. He     announces each roll, advertises betting options to the players and sets the pace of the game.

The Chips

Dealers are forbidden to take money from customers’ hands. To exchange money for chips, place the money in front of the dealer and say: “Change.” The Dealer then takes the money and passes it to the Boxman, who will count it and tell the dealer the amount. The Dealer will place your chips in front of you.

New Shooter

The Stickman pushes five dice to a new Shooter, he then selects any two, and the Stickman collects the remaining dice. In order to throw the dice, you must have a pass-line or a don’t-pass wager. If you don’t want to, you can pass and let the next person shoot.

Dice – Odds

The odds of rolling a particular number is based on the number of possible ways you can roll that number. Each dice has 6 possible numbers. Since you are rolling 2 dice, there are 6 + 6 = 12 possible numbers to throw and 6 x 6 possible ways you can roll that numbers:
